Schuylkill Christian Church
- What to expect on a Sunday morning.
- Our Sunday morning worship service is a time we gather to sing praises and worship God. Our dress attire ranges from causal to suits and dresses. We are not here to judge you but we are here to praise Jesus for what He did for us upon the cross.
- Our worship service usually follows the following format and everything is projected on our front wall for everyone to see.
- We open with some praise songs that are sung to prerecorded music.
- We then usually sing two (2) or so songs that are from our hymnals.
- We have a time of prayer where we bring our concerns before the throne of God and also praise Him for our many blessings.
- We prepare for our time of communion.
- We will sing a song that allows us to reflect on the cross.
- One of the men in the congregation will have a brief communion meditation.
- Communion is then served. First we pass the bread and then eat together. We will then pass the cup and drink together.
- Our pastor will then have his morning message. The message will be one that brings hope for a fallen world and always points to Jesus as the way to salvation. All the messages will reference the Bible since it is the source of all truth.
- We will have a time of commitment for anyone who wants to know more about Jesus and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
- We have a brief time for announcements.
- We end our worship service with a song of praise.
